Let me take this opportunity to give a big thank you to all those people involved, the sponsors, organisations and individuals that made this project possible and in particular the people of Armadale whose generosity of spirit and participation gave this project its heart.

The closing was an enjoyable event with time to view the completed project, reflect on the events over the last six months and and meet some of the people who participated with it as well as some visitors from Armadale, Perth and overseas.

I met Matt outside the post office. He was unable to come to the opening so I invited him for a private showing so he could check out his portrait.

The wall has been very popular especially with young people who have often returned with their friends to share their delight at being recorded. The inside story has also been greatly enjoyed, especially the interactive nature of it.

Its now time to paint, paint, paint… There is still much to do and time is running out, but there’s plenty of adrenalin running free with the end in sight. Hopefully this will get me through to the deadline.
This painting is well on its way.

For the final show all the source material will be removed and the exhibition will follow more traditional lines.

Today was the last day of the exhibition. It was a scorching hot day and the trains were not running so there were very few people about which was rather disappointing for the last day. Although there were not many passers by, the streets were empty and most people who were out looked hot and bothered, there were still some pretty determined people who came to see it before it closed closed.
The signs were brought in for the last time today
